Dunchurch Infant School & Nursery is situated on the edge of Rugby, in Warwickshire. Children can join our Nursery from the start of the term in which they turn three. When they are older, children join one of our two Reception classes and stay with us until the end of Year 2. We also offer before and after-school care and a holiday club.
We understand what an important decision the choice of school or nursery is for a parent, especially for such young children, so we aim to provide a caring environment where children enjoy their education and achieve well. For more about our approach to education, please see ‘Our Promises’ which sets out our commitment to all of our children.
OFSTED judged the school to be 'Outstanding' in all areas during the 2015-16 academic year. Since then the school has continued to progress and this has resulted in us being designated a National Support School.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to find out more about the school. Our Headteacher, Ian Dewes, is always happy to show prospective parents around.

I had a lovely time at the seaside last weekend - I had a paddle in the sea and a lovely walk along the beach, but I was excited to get back to school again on Monday. I’ve listened to some Year 2 children reading and I have to say they did very well. I also spent some time in Year 1 at registration time. This was to teach me to sit on my mat quietly whist the children concentrated and listened to their teacher. They were all very good, including me! I am hoping for some good weather at the weekend so I can go on some lovely walkies; hope you have a great weekend too.
